Product Freshness & Care Policy
At Pistachio Hair Wonders, LLC, every product is handcrafted in small batches using carefully selected ingredients. Because our formulas prioritize freshness and quality, many of our items are prepared close to the time of shipment rather than stored for long periods.
This helps ensure that you receive products at their best quality and freshness.
Our Preservation System
Some of our formulations contain Silver Dihydrogen Citrate, a preservative used to help maintain product stability and protect against unwanted microbial growth.
This preservative system helps keep products safe while maintaining our commitment to thoughtfully formulated skincare.
Our preservative system is formulated without:
• Formaldehyde
• Parabens
• Halogens
• Phenols
• Quaternary Ammonium Compounds
• Nano Particles
• GMOs
• Gluten
• Corn-sourced ingredients
Shelf Life
Shelf life can vary depending on the type of product.
General guidelines:
Water-containing products:
Approximately 11–12 months when stored properly.
Soaps: 12 months
Body butters:
Approximately 3–6 months.
Because these products do not contain water, they are naturally more stable, but they must still be stored properly to maintain quality.
How to Store Your Products
To maintain freshness and product integrity:
• Store products in a cool, dry place
• Avoid direct sunlight
• Avoid extreme heat or cold
• Keep containers dry and free from condensation
• Do not allow water to enter jars or containers
Condensation (water droplets forming inside or outside the container) can introduce moisture into the product and may increase the risk of contamination or mold.
Handmade Freshness
Because our products are handmade using natural ingredients, slight variations in color, texture or scent may occur from batch to batch. This is completely normal and does not affect product quality.
Caring for Body Butters
Our body butters are made with nourishing plant butters and oils.
To maintain quality:
• Keep away from direct sunlight
• Store in a cool environment
• Avoid introducing water into the jar
• Use clean, dry hands when applying
When stored properly, body butters typically last 3–6 months.
